Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026.

This policy explains which personal data the TrialsHub website processes, why, with whom it is shared and how you can exercise your rights under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the data processed on this website is TRIALS HUB LTDA, CNPJ 66.125.390/0001-34, located at Iguaçu Ave 1150, Curitiba, PR, Brazil.

Data Protection Officer (LGPD “encarregado”): Marco Stephan Lofrano Alves — info@trialshub.com.br.

2. Data processed when you browse

  • No tracking cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. The website sets no cookies of its own and does not use Google Analytics, social media pixels or similar tools.
  • Hosting technical logs. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which automatically records technical access data (IP address, browser, requested page, date and time) to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks.
  • Web fonts. The website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; to do so, your browser shares your IP address with Google.

3. Data you send us

The contact form does not store or send data to any website server: when you click “Send”, it opens your own email application with the message filled in, and you decide whether to send it. In that case we receive the data you include: first name, last name, email, phone, company, message and, if any, the study of interest.

We also receive the data you send us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp. When you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.

4. Interest in taking part in a study

If you express interest in a study on the Recruiting page, we will use your contact details only to reply and, if you wish, to schedule an assessment with the research team.

Do not send test results, medical reports or details about your health through the website, email or WhatsApp. Eligibility is assessed in person by the research team, according to the study protocol approved by the Research Ethics Committee and through the Informed Consent Form. Expressing interest does not oblige you to take part.

5. Why we use the data and on what legal basis

  • Replying to sponsors, CROs, institutions and investigators (for example, feasibility requests): pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, V and IX).
  • Replying to people interested in taking part in studies: consent, given when you contact us (LGPD, art. 7, I, and art. 11, I).
  • Keeping the website running and secure (technical logs): legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX).
  • Complying with legal or regulatory obligations, where applicable (LGPD, art. 7, II).

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with the providers needed to run the website and our communications — Cloudflare (hosting), Google (institutional email and website fonts) and, if you choose that channel, WhatsApp — or when required by law or by order of a competent authority.

7. International transfers

These providers may process data on servers outside Brazil. In such cases, transfers follow the cases set out in article 33 of the LGPD, with providers that adopt contractual data protection safeguards.

8. How long we keep data

We keep contact data for as long as needed to reply to and follow up on your request and for the period required by legal or regulatory obligations. After that, it is deleted or anonymized. Technical access logs follow the hosting provider’s retention periods.

9. Security

The website is served only over a secure connection (HTTPS) and keeps no visitor database. Access to messages received is restricted to the TrialsHub staff who need them to reply.

10. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may at any time:

  • confirm whether we process your data and access it;
  • correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully;
  • request data portability;
  • find out with whom your data has been shared;
  • withdraw consent and request deletion of data processed on that basis.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@trialshub.com.br. You may also lodge a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

11. Children and adolescents

The website is not intended for people under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. Enquiries about studies involving minors should be made by their legal guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or the law. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
